What this is:

I'm running a video tutorial series on YouTube about shaders for hobby programmers in GameMaker Studio and one video is about how normal maps work. 

This tool here is complementary to the normal map video. With it the audience can interactively explore what normal maps are.

Issues:

  • Didn't work when testing with the Internet Explorer.

Really helpful tool for understanding the concept. I wonder why you didn't put the possibility to use a virtual light into this tool, like you did in the video?
